Gretchen Jackson, owner of Barbaro, visits OS
Posted 05/15/2014 04:01PM

You never know who is going to show up as a presenter at an Oldfields assembly, but they all have one thing in
common – to share their diverse experiences and broaden the horizons of our girls. This week’s presentation by Gretchen Jackson, owner of the famous Kentucky Derby winner, Barbaro, was no exception. She shared how Barbaro changed racing history in more ways than one.  Learn more about how the Jackson family used the tradegy to make positive changes, Click Here.

Also joining Mrs. Jackson was jockey Forest Boyce who shared with the girls the hard work and persistance it takes to be a female in a male-dominated industry. Thanks to both of these inspirational women leaders for visiting Oldfields!
