Originally from Newburgh, NY, Claire is in her ninth year at Oldfields School. Claire graduated with honors from Springfield College in 2004 where she was a four-year member of the Pride’s varsity swim team. She began her professional career in 2004 at New York University as the Assistant Athletic Trainer, working predominantly with the women’s volleyball and men’s wrestling teams. Claire received a Master of Science in Public Health and Nutrition from New York University in 2010. She worked at NYU for seven years before joining Oldfields in 2011 as the Athletic Trainer.

In 2012, Claire expanded her position at Oldfields into the classroom and began teaching Anatomy and Physiology. This role, in conjunction with her athletic training, allowed Claire to share her passion and extensive knowledge of the human body with our Oldfields students. In 2017, in addition to her other responsibilities, Claire was named the Assistant Dean of Students before recently accepting the role as Dean of Students for the 2019-2020 school year. She is excited to play an integral part in giving each girl the best possible experience in and out of the classroom at Oldfields.

Claire is dedicated to a healthy balance in mind, body, and spirit for herself, her family and the students of Oldfields. She completed her first half marathon in May 2011, participates in the yearly swim across the Hudson in New York, enjoys skiing in the winter, and has become an avid tennis player. Claire resides off campus with her husband, JG, and their 3 daughters, Brady (5), Sawyer (3) and newest addition, Kearney.
