Everything you need to know!

Here are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions along with whom to contact if you still need help! The information below can also be found on the Registration page of the Oldfields website.

1) What needs to be done by the parent prior to arrival on campus?

Please note, the immunization record and physical form needs to be completed and signed by a doctor. Also, Magnus requires a username and password to login which you received upon enrollment. If you need help with your username and password, contact or 443-662-1022. If you need help with the actual health forms, contact or call 443-662-1029.

If you have any other questions, please contact or 443-662-1009.

2) What needs to be done by the student prior to arrival?
3) What is Preseason and who has to attend?

Preseason is early arrival and sports practices for students who are playing the following varsity sports:

  • Cross Country
  • Field Hockey
  • Varsity Tennis
  • Volleyball (Varsity and JV)
  • Riding (optional, additional fee)

Since league rosters are due to IAAM during Preseason, and our first games begin on the second day of school, it is extremely important that athletes arrive on August 29.

If you have any other questions or are unsure of the sport for which your daughter signed up, please contact or 443-662-1105.

4) What should I bring?

Don’t worry if you forget something. The School makes frequent trips to Target and Walmart beginning the first weekend the students are here.

If you have questions about dorm life, please contact or 443-662-1084.

5) When does my daughter have to arrive?
  • Wednesday, August 29, 9-11 AM if participating in Preseason
  • Friday, August 31, 9 AM-12 PM if a new international student or a senior
  • Monday, September 3, 9:30-11 AM all remaining students

6) My daughter is a day student, when does she need to be on campus?

Please carefully read the Preseason and Opening Day Schedule >. There are “down times” when day students are permitted to go home in between activities or can hang out in our common areas or with friends. Please note that there are required activities on evenings and weekends. For example, all seniors have planned activities on Saturday, September 1, and Sunday, September 2.

7) What is my course schedule?

All students have received a Course of Study Letter that lists their courses for the 2018-2019 academic year. Newly enrolled students will receive one as soon as we have your transcripts and you have submitted your Academic Assessments.

If you have any questions, please contact or 443-662-1083.

8) How do I get my textbooks?

Textbooks can be purchased through Follett Books >. If you have any questions, please contact or 443-662-1083.

9) Who is my roommate?

You will be introduced to your roommate during Registration. Relax! It will be fun.

10) How do I pay tuition?

Oldfields offers several options for payment >. If you have questions, please contact the Business Office at or call 443-662-1012.
