Biology is the study of all things pertaining to life. This course introduces students to biology's essential topics, including, but not limited to: Cellular Biology, Genetics, Evolution, Ecology, and Human Physiology. Students participate in various classroom activities to support their learning, such as laboratory exercises, large and small-scale projects, and other hands-on activities. Beyond the mastery of subject matter, the goals of this course are to encourage a better understanding and appreciation for the life sciences and to help each student develop inquiry skills that allow them to think critically.
