Dear Oldfields Families,
We are writing to inform you that a member of our community has been diagnosed with COVID-19. This non-residential employee has self-quarantined at their home and is not interacting with others in the community. The health and safety of the Oldfields community remains our top priority. That is why at this time, we ask that families refrain from visiting campus for any reason. Information about packing and collecting student belongings will be forthcoming. This information has been shared with other employees, contact tracing protocols have been followed, and any community member who may have had direct/close contact has been directly notified. Additionally, any community spaces on campus (e.g., offices, classrooms, common areas, etc.) which may have been affected have been professionally sanitized and disinfected by an outside company. To augment our day-to-day COVID-19 safety protocols, the following guidelines are in effect until further notice:
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Director of Health Services Ashleigh Pfleegor at PfleegorA@OldfieldsSchool.org or 443-662-1029. Again, the health and safety of the Oldfields community remains our top priority, and we are grateful for your support and understanding. We will continue to work through these challenging times together with Courage, Humility, and Largeness of Heart. Sincerely, Oldfields School An exceptional independent boarding and day school for girls grades 8-12 1500 Glencoe Road | Sparks Glencoe, MD 21152 | 410 472 4800 | Contact Us |
