Dear Oldfields Alumnae,

Please join Head of School David G. Perfield and members of the Oldfields community at the Easton, MD Gathering kindly hosted by Howard and Liz Freedlander P'91 GP'22. Young Alumnae Luncheon on January 9 We hope you can join us! It wasn't that long ago that Oldfields was your home away from home, and we miss you! If you live in the Baltimore area or happen to be visiting nearby, please come to campus on January 9, 2020, for the Young Alumnae Luncheon.
Have fun visiting one another, as well as your favorite teachers and friends (including the four-legged ones.) Have lunch in the dining room any time between 12 noon and 1:30 p.m., and stay on campus as long as you like. See campus updates firsthand including the Anna Austen McCulloch Barn, Lana duPont Wright '57 Riding Ring, and updated dorm rooms in Centennial. Your classmates would love to hear what you are up to, so even if you can't attend the luncheon, you can submit a Class Note for the Winter Magazine. Don't forget to include a picture! Please feel free to contact Joan Carter at 443-662-1018 or CarterJ@OldfieldsSchool.org if you have any questions. We hope to hear from you soon!
Ali Hickman '16 Interns in Admissions Oldfields was excited to have alumna Ali Hickman '16 work in the Admissions office for several weeks over her holiday break from Carleton College in Minnesota. Who better to share the magic of Oldfields with prospective families than a young alumna?
She also couldn't wait to get back in Oldfields' dance studio, and was kind enough to teach a master class to the Oldfields Dance Company. We loved having her back at her home away from home!
Thankful for the Holiday Season Even though we only had less than three weeks between Thanksgiving Break and Winter Break this year, the Oldfields community participated in lots of holiday festivities. Most significantly, through our community service committee, we were able to make the holiday brighter for several families with donations of gifts and groceries that far surpassed our original expectations!
Many of the girls also volunteered up to 12 hours for a Baltimore-based charity called Santa's Helpers Anonymous. Their job consisted of two days of wrapping, loading, and transporting thousands of gifts to people in need.
The holiday was also celebrated on campus with a number of special treats and activities including cookie decorating sponsored by the Oldfields Parent Association, pajama day, holiday sweater day, and, of course, the Holiday Program and Dinner.
Washington, DC Gathering a Success! Trish, Fern '20, and Jamie Peva A huge thank you to Jamie and Trish Peva, parents of Fern Peva '20, who hosted a wonderful Washington, DC Gathering for Oldfields on December 4. It was a great night of celebrating with our extended Oldfields family. If you would like to host an event for Oldfields, please reach out to Director of Alumnae Affairs Joan Carter '81 P'15 at CarterJ@OldfieldsSchool.org or at 443-662-1018.
