Your Classmates Want to Know!

You've just had a blast during the holidays. You took a million photographs. Send us one for the winter issue of Oldfields Magazine! You know how much fun it is to look at them all when your magazine arrives in the mail.

While you're at it, include a couple of sentences about what you've been up to. Lots of people want to know! We'll add them to the magazine's Class Notes. (Does this make you a published author?)

It's easy! Click here to submit your photograph and class note! Do it today, before you forget! Inquiring minds want to know…

Term I Academic Awards

One year ago, Oldfields began the new tradition of the Academic Awards Ceremony for each term. It is a way to celebrate excellence in the classroom, both for achieving high grades and for exceptional effort and contribution (since sometimes grades do not tell the entire story). The teachers and students look forward to this award ceremony, and it was extra-special this time when some of the award recipients' parents were able to attend as well. Keep up the good work, scholars!

'Tis the Season for Giving Back

Holiday mission accomplished! Throughout the month of December, OS girls knitted and crocheted 18 adorable hats for the babies at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore. The wonderful nurses at the NICU will make sure the presents get delivered on time!

All thumbs when it comes to knitting? Community Service Committee had that covered as well. Our "Giving Tree" was loaded with hats, gloves, and scarves the community purchased and donated to those in need of some warmth and love in Baltimore City.

This Month in Photos

It was a festive month on the Oldfields campus. The students participated in the Holiday Program, had a visit from the Sugar Plum Fairy (a favorite tradition!), hosted double-header IEA horse shows, and so much more before heading home for a long and relaxing winter break. We captured the highlights above so you can get a glimpse into the students' lives at OS. Enjoy!
