Garden Party
A beautiful OS tradition lives on.

Garden Party is a tradition held close to Oldfields' heart. Students and faculty arrive in spring dresses and sun hats. Like a family, girls and teachers spend time with each other, sign yearbooks, and enjoy the yummy food, including strawberries and the chocolate fountain!

In recent years, the seniors have dedicated a song of their choosing to the community. This year, the song chosen by the seniors was "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. There wasn't a dry eye in the whole audience! This is always a sentimental moment for all since the senior girls will be graduating in two days.

This year, Garden Party was a fabulous, colorful, and fun-filled event where all the girls looked absolutely stunning. The sun was shining bright, and everyone was smiling and laughing with such joy! Garden Party will always remain one of Oldfields' most honored traditions.

Banquet Night and Awards Ceremony
OS girls are stars both in and
out of the classroom!

Banquet Night and The Awards Ceremony is a very special night for all the members of the Oldfields Community. It is a night to recognize and honor the achievements gained through commitment and hard work on the part of both students and faculty. May Court is announced to the Oldfields community as well as the Green and White Captains for the following school year. Congrats to all the students and teachers who have accomplished incredible things this school year! You'll see the complete list of winners in the Summer Magazine.

Remember when you walked down Graduation Hill? It's still the same!

The traditions of Graduation have been around for a long time, and you share them with the Oldfields girls of today. Take a look at this video and see how similar it is to your Graduation!

Return to Intern at Oldfields!

Oldfields has never been so lucky! The Oldfields staff is fortunate enough to have two interns this summer! And guess what?! Both are Oldfields alumnae!

Lissie Obrecht '16  returns to Oldfields this summer to work as an intern! Lissie is wearing many different hats this summer. She will be working in Development, Admissions, and at the barn. Hopefully she gets some down time before returning to college at Denison in the fall!

Elyse Bruzdzinski '17 is back at Oldfields for her second summer as the communications intern. Elyse attends college in Montana State and is majoring in sociology. We are so impressed with all her communications skills and couldn't be more grateful to have her on the OS Team! Fun fact: Libbi Yardley-Bruzdzinski '84 P'17, Elyse's mom, also attended Oldfields!

We are happy you are back, Lissie and Elyse. Welcome home!

May Program!

This year's outstanding May Programs became life-long memories for our Oldfields girls. While two of the off-campus groups discovered new passions outside of the country, five took the east coast by storm; conquering Washington DC, New York City, Lake Placid, Baltimore, and the natural beauty of Maryland. The final eight on-campus programs (with frequent day trips to enhance the experience) took hands-on learning to a whole new level by engaging girls in everything from intensive dance to food science, sewing crafts, creative writing, and even piloting their own plane -- with assistance, of course!

What was your favorite memory from May Program? Here are a few of this years' highlights:

Guess Who's Starting Tomorrow?

The day we've all been waiting for is nearly here! On Sunday, July 1, 2018, David Perfield officially becomes the 11th Head of Oldfields School!

We can't wait to welcome David and his family to the Oldfields campus, and we can't wait to introduce them to you! Be sure to come to any gatherings that may be in your area, and make plans to come to Oldfields the last weekend in April for Alumnae Day!
