Mentoring Programs

Oldfields BIPOC Alumni Mentor Program

This mentorship program recognizes the unique experiences and distinct set of challenges faced by BIPOC students—not only at Oldfields, but in their everyday lives. Oldfields seeks to partner BIPOC alumni with current BIPOC students and their Oldfields support systems (teams) in an effort to expand horizons, provide additional resources, instill confidence, and provide representation as students of color navigate their Oldfields journey.

This program was initially launched under the guidance and care of former faculty member Christine Gilmore in July 2016.

Oldfields Mentors

This mentorship program is designed to connect Oldfields alumni, parents, and friends with alumni and/or current students for the purpose of sharing career experiences and insights about occupations, industries, and general career advice.

This program is not intended to be a job or internship placement service, but a way for Oldfields alumni and parents to give back to young women starting down the road on their career of choice, or to more established graduates who would like to change direction.
