The Oldfields guidance philosophy emphasizes communication and appropriate college placement for each individual girl. Each student’s needs and desires are evaluated in order to create a program of study and testing that will benefit the student in her college application process. An interactive involvement of student, parent, teachers, academic dean, and college counselor is essential for successful placement. The success of the College Guidance program is consistently evaluated on the number of students who are admitted to the college they wish to attend, our priority is finding the right fit for each student. We are pleased that a large percentage of our students are accepted to their first choice college and few of our graduates transfer.
