The Oldfields lacrosse team suffered a tough loss to St. Timothy’s School yesterday. This was a special Play Day between the two schools. The teams were evenly matched and exchanged leads throughout the game, with St. Tim’s coming out on top in a 13-12 victory. Captains Louise Chapman and Anastasia Araviakis played with true passion and desire all over the field. Anastasia led the team with 6 goals. Emily Brownawell contributed 4 goals and led the transition attack. Tiffany Peart and Julie Fedele each played half of the game and came up with 6 saves each. Isabel Carstarphen provided a boost on the defensive end, along with Asantewaah Ofsuhene and Dalvida Palmer. The team is excited to play against St. Tim’s again in a few weeks. Oldfields will come out with the win next time!
