Today was the first home game for Oldfields and it was nice to be on our own field. The team fought hard against a relentless St. Vincent Pallotti attack. Defenders Julia Kassman and Logan Morris worked extremely hard to slow Pallotti's attack and lead the defense. Louise Chapman and Ali Towne provided speed and momentum in the midfield. Oldfields improved their transition attack and scored several goals on fast breaks down the field. Emily Brownawell led the team with 11 goals and Anastasia Araviakis provided 2 goals and 2 assists. The team continues to improve and are starting to work together as one unit. We look forward to our next game on Wednesday against Mt. Carmel.
