Emma graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Global Studies. For her degree, she spent six months living in rural Tanzania, teaching English at an orphanage. During her undergraduate years, she played four years of field hockey and was a mentor for Sewanee Women Engaging and Empowering the Community. This summer, before joining Oldfields, Emma and 26 other young adults ran from San Francisco to Baltimore in order to raise awareness and funds for young adults battling cancer. When Emma is not in the office, she spends her time running or hiking on local trails and planning her next adventure.
