The George S. Nevens, Jr. Library
The George S. Nevens, Jr. library offers a comfortable, inviting environment conducive to learning and leisure. All tables, window seating and countertops are wired for Internet access. Three group study rooms and The Jan Scott Room supply quiet space.

Because the librarian works closely with the faculty in collection development, the 13,000+ materials are aligned to the curriculum at Oldfields. The various periodicals, videos/DVDs and audio books combine to form a comprehensive collection. The library is dedicated to nurturing information-literate students who develop into lifelong learners. Collaborative teaching and current resources such as the several databases, online reference tools and educational CDRoms, such as Kurzweil 3000, aid in the library's mission.
For pleasure reading or study, the library offers two large reading areas, one flanked with picture windows, the other enhanced with a fireplace. Uniting all resources, the students become a population of savvy researchers.
