Bernie Traurig

Jumping Clinics:

January 19-21

A Bernie Traurig Clinic will be held at Oldfields School on January 19 through January 21. Bernie is known for being successful and riding at the top levels in eventing, show jumping, dressage, equitation, and hunters. He rode with many of the great horseman, including Vladimir Littauer, William Steinkraus, and Frank Chapot. Today, he educates and teaches riders of all levels, focusing on the importance of the basics and position.

As a junior, Bernie won the ASPCA Maclay Medal and continued on to become part of the United States Equestrian Team. He has competed in several World Cup Finals. Not only has he reached the Olympic level of competition in various disciplines, but he has also been an Olympic Coach to the U.S. Team.Additionally, he is a member of the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame.

Today, Bernie is known for being a talented horseman and clinician. He teaches around the country and is a USHJA certified instructor. Bernie created “Equestrian Coach,” an instructional website for the equestrian sport.

If you are interested in riding with Bernie, please contact Amy Phillips at phillipsa@oldfieldsschool.org. For the complete Bernie Traurig clinic package, the cost will be $400. This includes two clinic sessions, an evening meet and greet with Bernie, and refreshments. Per day, the audit fee is $30, which includes refreshments.

Fees: $400 for 2 lessons. Group lesson format.

Fee includes 2 lessons, a meet and greet session with Bernie on Saturday evening, January 20, and light fare and refreshments throughout each day.

Auditing is $30 per day.

$100 deposit required to reserve spot in clinic!
