Clubs and organizations are voluntary and are organized and run by students. In recent years, students have contributed their time and enthusiasm to Student Council, Art Club, Black Awareness Club, Model United Nations, It’s Academic, Global Issues Club, Spectrum, Student Ambassadors, Outing Club, and Playmakers. Dubious Dozen and Images are two very active student-organized a capella choral groups that perform frequently for the Oldfields community. In addition, the school newspaper, literary magazine, and yearbook are produced almost entirely by the efforts of Oldfields students with the support of a faculty advisor. Participation in activities not only increases the feeling of community but also offers each student various avenues in which she can explore new interests or express her talents. Singing groups, dramatic productions, literary publications, and community volunteer organizations encourage students to become involved and to contribute to the enrichment of the School.
