No one has a better perspective on Oldfields than an Oldfields girl. The following are testimonials on the Oldfields experience, told by those who know it best.

A large part of my personality and interaction with people skills were developed from the Oldfields experience. All the positive and negative interactions and experiences allowed me to learn a little bit more about myself and about other people. The encouragement and support from faculty and friends allowed me to develop a sense of faith in myself and my capabilities.

I remember my 8th grade year when I was in Morning Meeting, and the Head of the School told us to look around the room because the girls sitting next to us were to become our "family" forever. Well, I chuckled at how cheesy that sounded. I started to realize how true that statement was over the course of the past year. Now I’m in college and as I reflect on my time at Oldfields, I know that I somehow grew so close to the people there and that Oldfields truly has become a home to me. I am confident, successful, and proud of the person I am because of Oldfields.
Every day I thank God for providing me with a School that has embraced me and has become such a blessing in my life. It is true that you can take a girl out of Oldfields...but you can never take the Oldfields out of the girl.

I look back on my years as an Oldfields girl, and I can see that much of life is just like the feelings I had about Green and White Night – anticipation for what is to come, fear of things that you might have to do, but most of all, a great sense of camaraderie and community.

I fell in love with Oldfields when I arrived. The school taught me to love learning and have deal of self-respect during a deeply impressionable period. My teachers always made themselves accessible to me and went above and beyond the call of duty. I grew more in the two years I was at Oldfields than I ever had. I was profoundly touched by this community, which simply said, “We like you and believe in you and we want to help you grow.” Unconditional support is amazing, especially during adolescence. The decision to go to Oldfields was one of the best I ever made.

Oldfields’ best quality is that it is not afraid to look forward and is always ready for the next challenges and generations of students. It has kept its quality of spirit throughout the years. Oldfields has left a lasting impression on me.
